Sealed with Love

 photo 2016 12-20 Succeed Weekly sans a_zpsocpfcu4v.jpg

Are you ready for some cute Valentine's ideas?  The technique that stole my heart the most was the ombre effect with the sponge brayer.  On any light colored paper, you can create the most beautiful ombre effects.

photo Blog-1_zps5bqkvaux.png  This card is for the Casual Stamper.  I purposely placed the items on the card at an angle so I wouldn't have to worry about making things straight.

photo Blog-2_zpssrxfhopt.png  This treat bag is for the Avid Stamper.  I used these colors, in this order, to get the ombre effect:  Real Red + Flirty Flamingo + Pink Pirouette.  When doing ombre, I find it's easiest to start with the lightest color first and then work your way to the darkest color.  Gorgeous!

photo Blog-3_zpsntkptr7a.png  This treat bag is also for the Casual Stamper.  The Scalloped Tag Topper Punch is for more than making tags.  Punch each side of a strip of paper and write it around a cello bag.  Cute!

Do you have this set?  Show me what you came up with.

Let me know what you think!

Be Thankful + Halloween Treats

 photo 2016 09-20 Succeed Weekly sans a_zps9ubcj61h.jpg
Look what I made!
I made these projects for Stampin' Up! demonstrators to get extra ideas on ways to use their stamp sets.  Lucky for you, I can share this with everyone (since I made it.)

To break down each project set I do, I'm supposed to create a project for the avid, casual, and new stamper.  So smart!  So no matter where you are on the crafting spectrum, you can create these items.
 photo 2016 09-20 Succeed Weekly_zpsllg8hoot.jpg
photo Blog-1_zps5bqkvaux.png  This card is for the New Stamper.  I used the Sparkle Embossing Folder for the base of the card.  To get your pumpkin all cute and colored, after you stamp your pumpkin, use your sponge dauber (in a circular motion) to color the inside.

photo Blog-2_zpssrxfhopt.png  This project is for the Casual Stamper.  I bought these adorable straws at my local craft store and couldn't wait to use them.   To get the criumpled olive banner, literally crumple up your paper.

photo Blog-3_zpsntkptr7a.png  This treat box is for the Avid Stamper.  There are lots of things going on with this project but that's the only reason it's for the avid stamper.

Let me know what you think!

I Stamped This

 photo 2016 07-26 Succeed Weekly sans_zpsksus3irf.jpg
No.
Really.
I did stamp this.
...with the I Stamped This stamp set from Stampin' Up!.

To break down each project set I do, I'm supposed to create a project for the avid, casual, and new stamper.  So smart!  So no matter where you are on the crafting spectrum, you can create these items.
 photo 2016 07-26 Succeed Weekly_zpsbgaykx61.jpg
photo Blog-1_zps5bqkvaux.png  This card is for the Casual Stamper.  I used the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder and then used the aqua painter to color on top of the circles.  To get the ombre effect, don't re-ink while you're painting.

photo Blog-2_zpssrxfhopt.png  This card is for the Avid Stamper.  I watercolored a large area on some watercolor paper and then used the Confetti Stars Border punch to get all the fun colored stars.  I used the fine-tip glue pen to adhere them to the hard.  A little tedious but totally worth it.  Yes?

photo Blog-3_zpsntkptr7a.png  This tag is for the New Stamper.  No tricky stamping here!  I used the markers to color the silverware and the sentiment and viola!  A cute tag!!

Let me know what you think!

Pineapples & Banners for You

 photo 2016 06-14 Succeed Weekly sans_zps9nbflk0n.jpg

Are you a Stampin' Up! demonstrator?  Then you saw these fab projects in your inbox this morning.

I made these projects for your viewing and crafting pleasure.

To break down each project set I do, I'm supposed to create a project for the avid, casual, and new stamper.  So smart!  So no matter where you are on the crafting spectrum, you can create these items.

photo Blog-1_zps5bqkvaux.png  This tag is for the New Stamper.  Nothing on this tag is extra fancy except the outlining on the banner.  And by fancy, I mean, super easy.  Literally draw an outline around the banner to make your words pop.

photo Blog-2_zpssrxfhopt.png  This watercolored card is for the Casual Stamper.  I used an aqua painter, of course, and the Banners for You Photopolymer Bundle for the rest of the card.  When you buy the Framelits and stamp set together, you save 10%.  Sweet!

photo Blog-3_zpsntkptr7a.png  This treat bag is for the Avid Stamper.  This project isn't as difficult as it looks.  Stamp your pineapple leaves on Whisper White cardstock a few times and then cut out the different "levels" to make them pop.  I used a bone folder to help curve up the tips.  The pineapple is gorgeous, isn't it?  To get this look, I inked the pineapple in Crushed Curry and then stamped it directly onto watercolor paper.  Because the paper is so uneven, the ink won't apply evenly (this is exactly what you want to happen.)  Before the ink dries, I used my aqua painter (my tool of choice these days) to color in the spots I needed ink by using the ink already on the paper.  This creates different hues of the ink and I think it looks marvelous.

I love Halloween!  I love all the fun decorations and the candy!!!  I love giving away decorated treats as well as receive them.  *wink* *wink*  If you know me even just a smidge, you know that I also LOVE to use my scraps.  This project is one of the best ways to use up scraps of ribbon.  Feast your eyes on these delicious treats!

I used the templates in the Build A Banner Simply Created Kit and just smashed my VersaMark on top of the stencil.  EASY!  Then pour your Heat & Stick Powder on.
Heat until your powder is tacky/sticky looking.
Then pour your glitter on top.
Heat again.

Done.

This project was a spinoff from another project you'll see later this month.  I love it when that happens!

Halloween is right around the corner so that means you need to start making your projects now or AT LEAST buy (and eat) the candy.

Yes?

Yes.

Do you know how to create a fabric lolly?  Sew a straight stitch (by hand) along one of the edges of the ribbon (about 1/8" in) in and out, in and out, or up and down.  Whatever - I'm not a technical person.  Then gather your ribbon.  You get a squished piece of ribbon.  Put the ends together and you've got a fabric lolly.
