Pineapples & Banners for You

 photo 2016 06-14 Succeed Weekly sans_zps9nbflk0n.jpg

Are you a Stampin' Up! demonstrator?  Then you saw these fab projects in your inbox this morning.

I made these projects for your viewing and crafting pleasure.

To break down each project set I do, I'm supposed to create a project for the avid, casual, and new stamper.  So smart!  So no matter where you are on the crafting spectrum, you can create these items.

photo Blog-1_zps5bqkvaux.png  This tag is for the New Stamper.  Nothing on this tag is extra fancy except the outlining on the banner.  And by fancy, I mean, super easy.  Literally draw an outline around the banner to make your words pop.

photo Blog-2_zpssrxfhopt.png  This watercolored card is for the Casual Stamper.  I used an aqua painter, of course, and the Banners for You Photopolymer Bundle for the rest of the card.  When you buy the Framelits and stamp set together, you save 10%.  Sweet!

photo Blog-3_zpsntkptr7a.png  This treat bag is for the Avid Stamper.  This project isn't as difficult as it looks.  Stamp your pineapple leaves on Whisper White cardstock a few times and then cut out the different "levels" to make them pop.  I used a bone folder to help curve up the tips.  The pineapple is gorgeous, isn't it?  To get this look, I inked the pineapple in Crushed Curry and then stamped it directly onto watercolor paper.  Because the paper is so uneven, the ink won't apply evenly (this is exactly what you want to happen.)  Before the ink dries, I used my aqua painter (my tool of choice these days) to color in the spots I needed ink by using the ink already on the paper.  This creates different hues of the ink and I think it looks marvelous.

Let me know what you think!

Welcome to our (the 2013 Artisan Design Team) monthly blog hop!  Whether you're starting here or coming from Erica's page, I'm happy you're here.  In the comments section of my blog, you can participate in this theme by posting a link to your project using our same theme.  Then everyone can see what you've made too!  The one thing you can count on is that our projects will be fancy!

The theme for this month is TAGS TAGS TAGS.   You can interpret it however you'd like.

I'm excited to see what you create!

I interpreted TAGS TAGS TAGS as:

Glimmer.
Shiny.
Sparkly.
Silver.
Fancy.
Watercolor.
Christmas.
FUN!
                          FUN!

Cut out a Jumbo Sticky Round.
Cut strips of paper and lay them across your sticky round.
Dump your glitter all over your sticky round.
Press the glitter down with your fingers to make sure
it's nice and stuck.
Dump off excess glitter.

The only thing to remember while creating your own DSP is that the sticky round is STICKY!  Where your papers touch, they stay.  Be careful.
