fancy that jane: 2012 Artisan Design Team Projects for August

IN COLORS!!! That's what my first box of "perks" of being an Artisan Award Winner was full of. I'm sad to admit that I hadn't even ordered any of the new products from the catalog so I was super excited to see that my box was FULL of all new In Color stuff. This is the beginning of "Project Replenishment" of my SU! stash since 90% of it retired.

Part of the perk of receiving this fabulous box of goodies each month is that I get to create 4 projects total - 1 project goes on facebook (which I'll post to my blog as soon as it's visible of facebook) and 3 to my blog. Can I just say that I am SUPER glad we don't have to turn our projects in to Stampin' Up! for this portion of our award? I'm loving looking at this cute container. Some things just make you happy when you look at them. For me, this is one of those things.

I know I just barely wrote that I was in love with banners, pennants, and bunting, but after this card, I fell in love with this simple way to make a bow. I am "bow" challenged so I always just tie knots on my cards but after making these bows... L O V E! I'm in love. Try making these and you'll be in love too.
